George E. Seay, III, CFA, is the Founder & Chairman of Annandale Capital. Prior to his time at Annandale, Mr. Seay both founded and served as CEO of Seay Stewardship & Investment Company. A licensed attorney at law in the state of Texas, he worked previously for Locke Purnell Rain Harrell as a commercial litigator. He also has public policy experience through his work for the Governor of Texas and the Deputy Secretary of State at the U.S. State Department in Washington. In addition to Mr. Seay’s leadership at Annandale, he serves on numerous Boards, including Chairman of the Clements Center for History, Strategy & Statecraft at the University of Texas at Austin, former Chairman and Member of the McCombs School of Business Advisory Council at UT Austin, and Trustee of the Southwestern Medical Foundation. He received his M.B.A. and B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and his J.D. from Southern Methodist University School of Law.
Craig Wenning is the Chief Executive Officer of Annandale Capital. Prior to joining Annandale in 2009, Mr. Wenning served as the Senior Director of Operations of Watermark Community Church and was Vice President of Symmetry Capital Advisors, LLC, where he managed money for high net worth individuals and families. Prior to business school, Mr. Wenning held various management roles at the technology startup LifeMinders.com. His efforts culminated in helping take LifeMinders public on the NASDAQ. Previously, he worked in investment banking as an analyst at Friedman Billings Ramsey. He was an Arjay Miller Scholar at Stanford University where he received his M.B.A. He also graduated from the Honors College of Clemson University with a B.S. in accounting where he was awarded the Norris Medal as the university’s most outstanding student.
